If nothing else, I’m a person of many names. I grew up in a small town outside of Los Angeles that teems with artists, entrepreneurs, historic homes, and (probably most notably) leftover sets from the Michael Myers Cat in the Hat movie.
My relationship with creativity started with doodling Odd Rods on random objects at home and hijacking my mom’s computer to use MS Paint. Then it was making short films in the summer and jamming out to Hotel California in a guitar orchestra. It now spans anything from brand identities to developing physical products, and a personal brand centered around mugs (but there’s a reason for that).
The first question I ask on a project is always: What’s the cup we are being asked to fill? I believe what we do works best when it starts with a true understanding of the audience whether they’re an entrepreneur, a filmmaker or just an Odd Rod. No one thing is the same.
