An 120-year old paper turns the page
The Daily Orange continues to serve the Syracuse community with sharp, relevant coverage. As the papers presentation director, I conceptualized and art directed photoshoots, pushed layouts, defined the paper’s visual identity across its 4 editorial sections, and enhanced usability online to continue to bring readers to the paper both in print and on screen.
A talented freshman class re-energized Syracuses’ Lacrosse program heading into the 2023 season.
Colors from the programs glory-days, energetic typography, and retro-futurisitic linework thorughout the guide signified that return-to-form.
The growth of the legal cannabis industry in Upstate New york has given rise to a number of stories about how businesses, students, and lawmakers are tackling the growing industry. No puff pieces here, just a dope guide about those stories.
20-Years after Syracuse Basketballs 2003 basketball championship win, we took a looking back through the archives at unique stories, photos and individuals that defined a season to remember.
The Daily Oranges’ website was refreshed to be more user-friendly and aligned with the evolution of the brand and what people expect out of their news.
Infographics played a major role in both print and digital stories, utilzing the editorial style guide to create visuals that complimented data within select stories.
