HarbingersCharcoal Spirits Packaging + Advertising

Behold, one hell of a night.

Overview

In a industry that sees countless new drinks every year, Harbingers breaks convention with a spirit collection inspired by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Each bottle embodies Death, Famine, Pestilence, or War through charcoal-infused blends, striking dark visuals, and bold storytelling — offering an unforgettable sip for collectors, rebels, and anyone toasting a special occassion (or the end of the world).

Identity

Albrecht Durers woodcut drawing of the Four Horsemen has become an influential cultural reference for what the riders look like and mean. These illustrations use that style as a reference to build a brand that feels old and decedant.

Strategy

Each bottle in the collection comes with a talisman card, all 4 make a QR code that will take you to a special webpage to order the ‘Apocalypse’ decanter set, thus fulfilling the prophecy.

Advertising Launch Campaign: “The End is Nigh”

Using language that leans into the prophecy and age of the story that inspires the collection, this campaign lets the brands self-aware humor shine through in forebearing copy and stylized images of fable and ruin.
