An 120-year-old paper finds a new voice.
With over a century of student journalism, The Daily Orange continues to navigate evolving formats, tight budgets, and rapid deadlines — all while serving the Syracuse community with sharp, relevant coverage. As design editor and later presentation director, the focus during my tenure was to unify the paper’s visual identity across print and digital, art-direct photo shoots, push layouts, and enhance usability online to improve the readers experience.
